The Verdacura story is all about a pharmacist who is a perfectionist formulator and a caring father of three who has always been passionate about helping his friends and family lead a healthy and green lifestyle.

In 2010, when his kids and wife developed skin sensitivities, the family was already using a soap made with vegan and natural ingredients. Although the soap seemed to be a great product, they noticed that the symptoms always worsened after bath time. They tried a few similar products, but the problem persisted.

The pharmacist was born in Anatolia where an ancient soap-making technique is still used by a few local artisans. He sought out these traditional soap artisans and learned their age-old techniques. Then using his pharmaceutical knowledge, he worked patiently to improve upon the ancient recipe. Finally he developed an ultra-gentle soap made with 100% natural ingredients through this improved process requiring a lot of patience and expertise.

Since then, he has made soap and shampoo for his family and friends with sensitive skin. After running his local pharmacy for 20 years, he and his wife decided to make an investment to share these products with more people searching for 100% natural and gentle products for their body.

It is now their pride and joy to manufacture these gentle, Earth-friendly soaps in New Jersey and share them with people who respect their body and the planet.
